The New Age: Homeoffice
Thursday, August 19th, 2010What used to be rather rare is now in quite a few households the home office. This is not, however, because the people now work so much at home, but rather the fact that almost every house has an Net connection and a work station. This must be kept or placed somewhere. Its not very complicated: buy a desktop and a office chair, put it into a room, which is still unused, used before as a spare room or as a coop, and finished is your home office. And so, your new room will be filled with a lot of bumf. But, with every going day you need more and more features to work with your computer. There is a lot of purchased equipment that makes work easier. Most of the first purchase is a printer. Nearly any household has still got a printer. Next often other accessories such as loud speakers, CD burner, faxes, copiers and any amount of small items. A individual’s USB-sticks or mouse is the wish of nearly every user. But that is not enough. Soon the computer is no longer good enough and is upgraded. Always according to the motto: faster, bigger and better. To save all your amount of data, it is a must to have a external hard disk.
Its the beginning of a never ending cycle
Unfortunately ist nearly hopeless to update the homeoffice, that the user is happy with his facilities. Nearly every user buy some new peripheral equipment piece by piece, because they are quite expensive. Its a shame, but the first defective devices happened, when the list is completed. Your CD burner is not goog enough, or your screen is has not enough inches. The disappointment is often not on the devices themselves, but the fact that new and better products come to market, improving on their own by far. So, this is the beginning of the never ending cycle because every item will be replaced by a new one, which is bigger, better, faster…
